I understand that editing can be affected based upon the screen you are using, but the spelling mistakes should have been addressed before this was released. I would suggest that you buy this book in the print edition so that it is easier to reference as you are working on your mathematics work.

Avoid Silly Mistakes in Mathematics Rajesh Sarswat 9781520443973 Books Reviews

I find the math information pretty useful. However, the book has at least two major issues that make it frustrating to read

1) often, it lacks good English sentences. For example

"In mathematics Matrices are denoted by capital English alphabets like A, B, C,etc., students treat them at par with Algebraic variables and assume that matrix multiplication is Commutative."

2) there are inconsistencies in notation.

You will have to figure out from the context if 2.3 is 2x3 or a decimal. You will also encounter a.b or ab or a x b.

I would suggest that, when writing a book about "silly/stupid mistakes" in math, one should not sacrifice the written language...
A unique book, which may help students as well as parents and teachers to learn about and eliminate the various silly mistakes made by them in Mathematics.
very fundamental in concept formation from childhood. It is the foundation in building maths in our physical world
Good book, tone was a little bit off putting but overall it is worth the price as an E-book.
ONLY compatible with iphone. Not . Not Mac. JUST iphone. And once purchased, can no longer "read for free" from Prime. For Shame! Should never be approved as version. Tech told me that is up to the vendor, not to determine!
Say what!!?

It is really, really easy to make mistakes in mathematics. All of us who are not particularly gifted in that science know that maybe too well. This book leaps to the rescue of us, mathematically challenged folks and it is really useful.
The author patiently and methodically explains common mistakes in arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry, calculus and other various branches of mathematics, using simple language and examples, like a true teacher. The book is written in a way so that practically anyone can follow it, there is no need to be afraid of it just because it is about mathematics. And like the author shows us through this whole workbook, there is no need to be afraid of silly mistakes in mathematics. Everything can be learned, and this book certainly helps a lot. I must say, there is a few language inconsistencies and errors along the way, but the quality of information is far superior to those little annoyances. Highly recommended.
