I had received this book promptly and after reading reviews I had been extremely excited, especially since I haven't made time for reading in a while. I knew the book was going to have some wear based on the description given on the condition. But I was getting it at a good price and as long as it wasn't missing pages I was happy. It wasn't and it did have a large crease with tearing on the front cover as well as some wear and tear on the edges. So far, I've been trying to get into the book and after having it for a couple of weeks, I'm not entirely captivated. I had thought it would be a little different than any old teen fiction book, it seems to fall under all of the cliches so far. I'm still reading it so maybe it's just a slow starter. I'll update when I'm closer to the end or finished!

I bought this due to the fact you get the prequel novella, book 1 and book 2 all in one. I must admit, the prequel novella My Soul To Lose really captured my attention. Book 1 My Soul To Take was nearly as good, and book 2 My Soul To Save was maybe so/so. It wasn't as good as the first two in my opinion.

I really enjoyed the main character Kaylee and her boyfriend Nash. I love Kaylee's best friend Emma and that Kaylee has a conscience but only to an extent. She doesn't really care if she's going to get grounded or if someone dies in lieu of someone she cares for in most instances. She kind of does her own thing and everyone else puts up with it.

I like Nash's mom and I can't decide how I feel about Tod I'm excited to read his Novella which is to be read before book 4 I believe.

These books really help you get to know the characters and the storyline, I will continue reading the series hoping that book 3, My Soul To Keep is better than book 2. Book 2 wasn't that bad but sometimes the second book in a series is just not quite as good as the first. It's happened in many series.

Try the free sample for kindle if you have one, either way, you can't beat this deal the price is amazing for what you are getting and the books are full and the writing is solid. The characters all have depth and I think that there is a lot of potential here. I'm excited to see what happens next.

Interesting characters and plot. Definitely a book for teens. Some parts were a bit of a stretch, especially the mental hospital episode. I mean, what kind of people would allow horrific things to be done to a young girl they cared about, when knew the truth about what was going on? Are there any excuses for such behavior? The story shows that the decisions teens make can be dangerous and life threatening, no matter how good their intentions are. It shows that the level of distrust between teens and their parents, and how the things they don't tell each other, can also lead to dangerous and life threatening situations. What is someone's life worth? How far would you go to save someone else? How many people can be hurt by a person doing the right thing to save someone who made bad decisions? Lots of good questions and the kids in the book are solid. Nice twist on the paranormal focus as well.

I definitely am addicted to this series. Even the down times in this book were well written. Suspenseful and thrilling.
Great story. Character believable. Drawn into story loved reading the whole series . This story takes place in a high school with demons below trying to get to the people above.-by any means possible. The reeper in this story is a good guy. Great twist on how we view good vs evil. Sometimes the good guys lose, just like in real life.
I recently decided reread this series since it is my all time favorite. I had read all 6.5 books of the series (Six novels and one novella) six years ago within the span of a month. I was absolutely ADDICTED. I was worried that the memory would be better than the books themselves, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they held up well over the years.

These books have the perfect mix of humor and seriousness, and considering how I still feel so strongly about the characters and the story after all these years, I can say that the series are well worth a five star rating.
This story is the second time a book about a bunch of teenagers grabbed, enthralled, and excited me. The supernatural world in this book made my heart race while breaking it at the same time. Filled with surprises, this book opens up a new world filled with tragedy, love, and strength. The characters possess both darkness and light, strength and weakness, love and beautiful flaws. Definitely worth the money if you buy it by the volume, not by the individual story. You must start at the beginning to enjoy the story. It's pretty clean other than some lust and death.
